Pasta. It’s kinda a thing here in America, let alone most of the free world. Am I right?
According to the National Pasta Association, Americans consume more pasta than any other nation with the average person eating around 20 pounds each year.

Problem is, there really isn’t much of anything nutritionally worthwhile in the dried, boxed white pasta most people eat. And most people eat quite a bit more than the USDA’s recommended one ounce serving size. Note, most nutritional labels suggest two ounces (party, I know) per serving. Regardless, empty calories add up fast and if you’re in the mood to consume—I dunno why, emotional eating (maybe) … I’m not here to judge … BUT, like I said, if you’re in the mood to consume, you really need to try House Foods Tofu Shirataki. First of all, it’s unbelievably good. The consistency is perfect. The flavor is mild and it works with any sauce you want to add. AND … insert drum roll … it’s gluten free, non-GMO, vegan, is loaded with calcium and has only 20 calories per eight ounce serving. Ummmm … right. I know. Now there’s a reason to party. Hard : )

Polenta–The Perfect Sub for Pasta
Polenta is a great gluten-free alternative to pasta and you should try it. Just slice it, drizzle with a little olive oil and bake it. That’s all there is to it

So glad you profiled this! I discovered it a couple of years ago and I always have it tucked in the refrigerator. It is truly guilt-free, and you can eat a whole package! It makes really good sesame noodles, too.
